one of my pharmacology lecturers is funny.. if only we can have him for all our pharmaco lectures.. he's quite a good lecturer too..

there was this slide in our lecture that he said wasn't very important.. and he said that if those who don't want to listen, can look at the comic picture at the bottom corner of the slide. he's so funny lah!!!

and he even put a picture of a sexy nurse on one of the slides (we were learning about anaesthetics).. and he said that he typed "nurse" into google pictures, and this was the most appropriate picture he could find. and that he saved the rest into his 80Gb external harddrive. hahahahahaha.. funny man.

more "did you know?" facts!!! =D =D

"abraham lincoln's mother died when the family dairy cow ate poisonous mushrooms and mrs. lincoln drank the milk."

!!!!!

"the bathroom medicine cabinet is 1 of the worst places to keep medicine. the heat and moisture are just conditions required to alter the chemistry of medications, making them weaker, possibly ineffective, and in some cases, toxic. a cool, dry area away from sunlight and children is optimal."

reminds me of those american movies where they have the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. hahahaha!

i finished the whole textbook!! only all the "did you know?" parts.. hahahah =D

oh oh! and look what i read from a textbook! they had like "do you know?" goodies on the side of the pages throughout the book.. and there was one that read:

"Lead poisioning was blamed for contributing to the fall ofthe Roman Empire. Women became infertile by drinking winefrom vessels with lead that had dissolved in the wine, and the Roman upper classes died out within a couple of centuries. The Romans used lead as a sweetening agent and as a cure for diarrhea. It added up to massive, self-inflicted poisioning."

cool right!!!! did you know??? hee hee =D

and there was another "do you know?" that was about how there are don't know how many hundred of chemicals in coffee, and only 26 are known/tested. and the rest have fatal effects on rats! but thank Jesus that we are not rats. hee hee =D

that's going to be one of my favourite textbooks... until i finish reading all the "do you know-s".. hahahaha!

lalala! =D
